GPT has donated GES Software valued at USD1,000,000 to the University of the Punjab Institute of Geology to support academic research. The Dean of the Institute of Geology Prof. Naveed Ahsan and CEO of GPT Mr. Billy Yuan attended the software donation ceremony.
Established in 1882 in Lahore, the University of the Punjab is the largest and the oldest seat of higher learning in Pakistan. Located in the historical and culturally alive city of Lahore, this University has played a leading role in higher education in the country. 3 alumni from the university have been awarded the Nobel Prize. The University strives to provide a conducive environment for the pursuit of academic activities.
CEO Mr. Yuan gave a brief introduction to the development history of GPT and GES software and expressed his desire to further deepen cooperation. We hope that GES will further serve the scientific research and academic advancement of the Institute of Geology, and will help faculty and students master a useful tool for geological studies.
After the donation ceremony, the two parties had an extensive exchange on the features of the software, training, and technical support.
